About Us
Gigamic was founded in 1991 by 3 brothers. Settled in Wimereux, North of France, the company began by publishing the famous abstract game Quarto, which has sold over 1 million units worldwide. In 2016, Gigamic and Quarto celebrate their 25th anniversary together! Gigamic’s product line currently shows 30 titles, with rules translated into 30 different languages. Our products are distributed in more than 50 countries, and have received numerous awards. The signatures of a Gigamic product are a short explanation and fast playing time, designed for the needs of today’s time-sensitive and budget-conscious working families while providing an engaging and entertaining challenge. In 2000, Gigamic began distributing games in France and Belgium. Its French catalog includes more than 200 games, with titles from leading publishers such as Amigo , Zoch, Huch, Drei Magier, Eggertspiele, Granna, and more. Gigamic employs 25 people in France, and owns warehouses on three different continents. Our team of sales representatives are constantly driving around France to showcase our games and maintain our strong relationship with our retailers. We are in the process of developing a similar team in the USA, and work through International partners to help bring the Gigamic experience to the rest of the world. Over the course of the last 20 years, thanks to its careful selection of high-quality games made with the best materials, Gigamic has become a major actor in the international game marketplace.
