Capybara is a tropical, fast-paced, and delightfully cheeky card game.
Each turn, as many Zen cards as there are players are revealed in the center. Each player secretly chooses one of their 3 Capybara cards, everyone reveals at the same time, and then from the highest to the lowest number, each player takes a card from the center.
A constant dilemma: aim for balance (stay as close to 0 as possible), grab watermelons (+1 per watermelon), and collect Fiesta cards (increasing bonus).
End of round: score = Watermelons + Fiesta - distance from 0. The game is played over 2 rounds with a swap of decks.
Each Capybara deck is unique (numbers 1 to 72 distributed differently), so there are no ties during reveals.
Ultra-accessible rules, tension with every choice, chill & fun theme: after two rounds, the player with the highest total wins and becomes the most zen capybara in the jungle
